Insurance Rates Info

Information about insurance we accept.

We accept Cigna, Carefirst/BCBS, HSA/FSA, and credit/debit cards as payment to cover services. We also provide super bills for you to be reimbursed by your insurance company upon request.

  • Fees and potential insurance reimbursement will be discussed when the initial appointment is scheduled. It is your responsibility to know what your policy may reimburse and the amount of your deductible and/or co-pay prior to engaging in services. Payment is due at the beginning of each session or prior to your scheduled appointment.

  • Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please verify your coverage before scheduling services by calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions:

Do I have mental health insurance benefits that cover in office and tele-health services?

What is my deductible amount and has it been met? If it hasn’t been met, how much am I responsible for before it is met?

    What is my co-payment amount?

How many sessions per year does my

    health insurance cover?

Is authorization or approval required from my primary care physician before I engage in mental health services? If so, how can I get this and when may I begin services?

Please note: You are responsible for any services that your insurance company does not cover.

  • If we do not participate with your insurance and you wish to continue with scheduling and engaging in services with us, please verify your out-of-network benefits for mental health services. If you choose this route, sessions are paid for out of pocket and we may provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please find out from your insurance company the percentage of the session cost that your plan will reimburse.

  • If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment (or if you do not provide at least 24 hours prior to cancelling your appointment), you are responsible for paying the entire session fee. Insurance companies are not billed for missed appointments and the cost of this would be your responsibility.

  • All major debit/credit cards are accepted for payment through our secure portal, Simple Practice. Debit/credit card transactions may be subject to a transaction 2.75% fee.

If you’re underemployed or uninsured, we have a mental health intern who can provide free and/or reduced fee counseling services for a limited period of time. Space available in this program is dependent on current caseload. If you’re interested, please email us at info@prackind.com about this program.
